The Arriel 2 turboshaft engine features a very simple design, with a reduced number of parts and only five modules for easy maintenance. It capitalizes on the experience and know-how gained with the Arriel 1 family. The Arriel 2 has a TBO (Time Between Overhaul) of 3,500 hours. The Arriel 2S1 powers the twin-engine medium lift S76C+ helicopter.
